How
To Get Quality One Way Backlinks - 3 Link Building Strategies
We
all know backlinks and more importantly one way backlinks are
fundamental for top search engines rankings. But building backlinks
is difficult, time-consuming and is indeed a challenge for most
marketers. Many people ask themselves how to get quality one
way backlinks on a regular basis and in this article, am going
to share with you some of the top ways in gaining quality one
way backlinks.
Link
Magnet Articles
As
you might already know, articles can be link magnets. But not
all articles can generate backlinks. If you regularly submit
articles to article directories and your articles don't get
picked up, you have no chance in getting backlinks. Some of
the reasons could be a poor article title, articles not compelling
enough, too short and not offering much value.
Great
articles should have a killer title and the content should be
quality, informative and entertaining. What's the point in having
great content but a lame title? It won't even get read let alone
getting published. Killer titles should be eye-catching and
attention-grabbing. They can evoke curiosity and controversy
for instance. Here are some examples:
"How
To Get Top 10 Google Ranking - 1 Secret Marketers Ignore"
This
title raises curiosity and when an article grabs attention,
you have more chances in getting it read in the first place.
"Is
Google Killing Your Business With Google Instant?"
This
title is asking a question and can trigger controversy and create
a debate.
Articles
which inspire and impress are also great link magnets as well
as articles which provide a long list of tips, tools or resources
like
"28
Ways To Generate Traffic To Your Website"
All
these 3 titles are like click magnets. You need to get a click
before getting a link.
The
key to be successful with article marketing is to regularly
contribute great content to article directories and your chances
in getting your articles and links syndicated and published
on other blogs and websites increase tenfold. You never know
when you can get a quality one way backlink.
Did
you know articles that you publish on your website can even
get incoming backlinks to them naturally? It's true. If your
articles provide really great value, some people can include
the links in forums, social media websites or used as references.
These are natural link magnets plus it will also send you traffic.
Guest
Posting Articles
Guest
posting or guest blogging is one of the best ways to get quality
one way backlinks. You go look for them instead of waiting for
them to come. You can look for quality blogs in your niche.
Some blog owners can't keep up with producing content on a regular
basis, this is why they are looking for guest bloggers who can
contribute content and update their blogs.
Actually
both parties are benefiting. The blogger gets unique content
which in itself can draw search engine traffic and get monetized
in several ways. In return, the guest bloggers get traffic,
backlinks and brand awareness. A one way link from guest posting
is a contextual backlink as your link is embedded within content
in your author bio. It's the same as article marketing but with
guest blogging, it's even more powerful as the link is within
unique content. Most blog owners only allow unique content meaning
you can't publish that article somewhere else including your
own blog or website.
Guest
posting is not syndication and its real power lies in expanding
your reach. For that matter, you'll need to write original and
unique content for each and every blog you want to guest post
on. This will take some work but the rewards are worth it as
you can increase readership and valuable backlinks in the long
run.
Blog
Commenting, Profiles and Signatures
I've
included these 3 link building strategies as 1 as they have
more or less the same power. In addition, they are some of the
easiest to get. Commenting regularly on dofollow blogs will
build a flow of free backlinks. You need to do effective blog
commenting and try to target your keyword phrases where possible
but you should not spam the blogs. Creating profiles on dofollow
sites and blogs with your keyword-rich links and leaving comments
in dofollow forums with your signatures will also build backlinks.
It's important to emphasize dofollow because if the blogs, forums
or profile sites use the nofollow tag in your links, you won't
get much benefit for search engine rankings. You can easily
check manually if the nofollow tag is used. Just go to a blog
post, "Right Click" and "View Source". Scroll
down till the comments section. To give an example, if you see
something like
<span
class="comment_author">Paul from <a href='http://www.domain.com/'
rel='external nofollow' class='url'>
you'll
know that this blog uses the nofollow plugin.
Looking
for dofollow blogs, sites and forums can be a tedious task.
To make your job easier, I've discovered an amazing
resource which offers thousands of high PageRank blogs,
sites and forums where you can get a backlink. Also included
are .edu and .gov blogs and sites which hold even more weight
in Google. Furthermore, they give you several guides to help
you build your backlinks easily. Owning this backlink package
is worth its weight in gold as it can give you hundreds or thousands
of quality one way backlinks. Click

Getting one way backlinks with content marketing would require
some decent knowledge and writing skills on your part. But even
if you can't write, there is still the option of outsourcing.
My advice is it's better that you write your own articles as
this establishes yourself as the expert. Educate yourself and
keep learning. Both backlink strategies can be implemented although
guest posting is more active while article marketing is more
passive. But it's always good to have a mixture of marketing
strategies and backlinks. The 3rd and last link building strategy
which consists of blog commenting, profiles and signatures should
be included in your link building campaigns. They will give
you added link weight and help in Google rankings. Having a
diverse link profile is crucial for top search engine rankings.
Never rely on only 1 link building strategy as it doesn't look
natural. Always diversify your link portfolio.
